When you have a question about any subject concerning historic buildings or landscapes, the best place to start is our frequently asked questions (FAQs) section. Subscribing members can access the full extent of our expanding FAQ pages, but non members can access only the summary section for each question. These questions are typical or generic problems that our clients have encountered.
If the FAQ section does not answer your question, then you can obtain a detailed and personalised response from HBAS’ specialist consultants. That is achieved by using the on-line enquiry form in your personal member’s portal to which you can attach supporting material (photos, videos, drawings, etc) to help explain your enquiry. We will then confirm the question to ensure we understand it correctly. Once we have your confirmation that we have interpreted your question correctly, we will provide you with the most appropriate response.
Sometimes we cannot answer a complex question by e-mail in the normal manner because there may be other factors that need to be taken into account. In such an event we will either ask you to supply further information or we can arrange to visit the site and carry out an inspection and analysis. This ensures that our answer really provides the best solution to your unique set of circumstances.
