Requests
for technical advice or assistance will firstly be confirmed
back to the member by e-mail to ensure the query has
been understood properly.
Following confirmation of the
query, each question will be carefully considered by
one of our team of experts before the response is e
mailed back.
At times a straightforward
response may not be possible or it may need to contain
a number of provisos or other qualifications. This may
lead to the enquiry needing to be developed (where appropriate)
with site visits/inspections as part of our further
service. This will ensure that HBAS is always able to
deliver a precisely tailored service to meet your requirements
in all circumstances.
All guidance
and advisory work will follow the philosophies and guidelines
of the relevant organisations such as:
· the Society for the
Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB)
· Institute of Field Archaeologists (IFA)
· Institute of Historic Building Conservation
(IHBC)
· Civic Trust, and English Heritage (EH)
· Historic Scotland (HS)
· CADW
This is to ensure a consistent
level of approach when providing each client with assistance,
so as to maintain a high standard of delivery and a
professional service.
For members subscribing
to the postal/fax membership, we will follow the same
method as for our electronic membership, but question
confirmation and responses will be by surface mail or
fax.
